The Technische Universität Ilmenau (TUIL) participates in the Meteracom project with the Electronic Measurements and Signal Processing (EMS) research group.

The EMS is a group of 40 researchers led by Prof. Giovanni Del Galdo works in the field of mobile communications and signal processing. With this, the group carries out fundamental research with the aim of transferring its results into application-oriented projects funded by public institutions and industrial partners.

In the Meteracom project, the EMS contributes under the direction of Prof. Reiner Thomä with its expertise in channel sounding, antenna calibration, parameter estimation, and characterization of the propagation channel.
